The Physician Companion Program is for patients referred by their physician to access an OHIP-covered sleep specialist for diagnosis, treatment planning, and ongoing care.

OHIP coverage applies to eligible physician visits through the referral pathway; Please note that the Home Sleep Apnea Test (HSAT) itself is privately billed and is not covered by OHIP.

Important Note for Ontario Patients:
The province of Ontario may provide a $415 rebate toward the purchase of CPAP equipment through the Assistive Devices Program (ADP). To qualify for this rebate, a Level 1 sleep study completed in a qualified sleep laboratory is required. While the WatchPAT ONE Home Sleep Apnea Test provides an official diagnosis of Sleep Apnea and supports timely access to care, it does not meet the criteria for the provincial CPAP rebate under ADP guidelines.
